I have 2 years of professional software development experience, with a large focus on writing data pipelines for databases such as Postgres. Furthermore, I have had hands-on experience with modelling relational databases, in which I have used data decomposition to ensure that the least amount of space is used. Through my education, I have developed physics simulations. This provided me with a strong understanding of Parallel computing, which I have used for the previously mentioned pipelines. While this indicates a focus on performance, I actually prioritise programmer usability. This is done through interface/API design and code readability. For readability, I use the function length should be inversely proportional to its complexity.
In my spare time i analyze Tabletop RPG systems, to get a better understanding of their mechanics and statistical structure. This has lead me to develop dicechanics, which is a library i use on an almost daily basis. I love feeling like i am improving, and this feeling is a great source of motivation, from programming to cooking to illustration.
